Connecticut’s psyche-folk, anti-shoegazing project Sore Eros is the musical brainchild of Robert Robinson. In 2004, Robert moved to L.A. and began to collaborate with Ariel Pink, then with Noah Lennox, Kurt Vile and Gary War. His upcoming Know Touching album (via SHDWPLY) will be ginormouss. Berlin-based Emika serves some fresh, hypnotic dub via Ninja Tune. According 2 this interview, she is v much inspired by Berlin’s Technoparadise Berghain: ”I often spend all Sunday [at Berghain], writing lyrics in my head over the beats”.
