Do not miss it: Wednesday 30th March, 2011. Start 22h00. End 01h00.

Groovy. Prommer & Barck are set 2 drop their 1st collaborative album called Alex And The Grizzly - through Derwin Recordings. According to DJ Hell, this is the “most innovative and groundbreaking album of our time. I can hear the future.” Check the audio-visual future, directed by Berlin-based collective JUTOJO here.

Daniel Breretons Metronomy videos had a special kind of flavor that I liked very much. Then he was with WarpFilms. Now he seems 2 be back on track with this trippy video for New Zealand’s Connan Mockasin. Connan’s re-released debut LP Forever Dolphin Love, is soon out through Phantasy/Because Music. Check his new video here. (via)

This elegant tune called FT2 Theme is taken from Phil Manley’s solo debut Life Coach - out via Thrill Jockey. Phil Manley is the founding member of Trans Am and kind of a freelance recording engineer (w/The Alps, Arp, Mi Ami, Moon Duo, Wooden Shjips). Check the Kerry McLaughlin-directed video here. (via)

Apparently there are areas of Brooklyn also known as Ground Zero for Hipsters, but despite my sociological interests, I haven’t researched the term fully. But I really dig this track: its like Beastie Boys team up with Betty Boo. DIY-style in Brooklyn still kicks arse in 2011. Gotta love NY. Check the video here. (via)

Cant believe Profan’s mastermind Wolfgang Voigt dropped a music video 4 his latest release called Du Musst Nichts Sagen. Looks like DIY-music videos a part of the game, again. Really like this video a lot. If anybody knows, who directed this video - please drop me a line. Now watch the video here. (via)

This map is a joke. Thanks 2 Mahatma and Jinnah there is 1 Pakistan and 1 India. No changes necessary. But the music, made by Montreal based producer d’Eon is seriously futuristic. Nothing but advanced synthesizer-based music, taken from his Palinopsia LP, available now through Hippos In Tanks. Check the wild-style video here. (via)

Bloavez Mad! I introdouched NY’s experimental electronic unit Excepter earlier 2 you on my tumblr. This hell of a track, the beat-less Anti-Noah is a live-to-stereo recording from the experimental cinema-restaurant Monkey Town, released on their rrrad Presidence LP via Paw Tracks. Check the badass video here. (via)

Zzz) Boring. There are already 2 many Best Video-posts overfeeding the interweb. If u are hungry for those lists, I recommend this, this or that. Atlantics new PR-campaign 4 the track Get Some includes a 2 x File/MP3-Single + this Johan Söderberg-directed video here. (via)

Fuck the industry and motherfuck radio, man! Since blogs are also labels, everything is much better. The next proof is this killa track from Puzzle, called Impala. Released on the blog/label Generation Bass. The accompanying video art was made by Vincent Griffaut. Look at this and think about it here. (via)

Earlier we got rid of this guy. Since then his tumblr is growing as hell and there are a lot of videos 2 discover. Plus there is this tweet. Full new-media swagga 4 his mellow beats. I dont know anything else about Dro Carey, so go and watch the video here. (via)

And, yes, the clip is in the same vein as Prince Rama’s philosophy: totally spaced out. Enter the psychadelia here. (via)

76! For many years I heard people say: she is a silly dumb blonde, she is with the far right, she is nasty, she is not interested in children, she just cares about animals = she is a crazy old lady. Hmm. Obviously she is pretty lost these days, but back in the days she was somehow special. Bonne anniversaire-video here.
